Oct 2nd Muskie Report

Dad and I hit the water early today. Brutal cold. Air temp 28 degrees at launch. Sun got up and things warmed up. Water's murky with about 1 foot visiblity, temp 55 at 6 inches. Drug around some suckers, no takers on those, but man did they look good !! About 2 PM we finally made contact, nice 38 incher in the NMZ, had another smaller one grab a lure right at the boat but shook off. Pics and details on my site. Click the "Recent Catch" button.

Nice catch!!!!!!! Was the visibility only 1 foot in the whole lake or just the no motor zone??

At the dam it's 1.5 to 2 feet at best. Whole lake is pretty stained. But don't let that keep you at home, just get out the bright and noisy stuff and the suckers. The cold weather has got the fish moving and angry. Good Luck,
