Got out Sat eve after we ran out of paint and the honey-do list was on hold (thankfully). Mainly putzed around playing with the GPS and marking some nice spots that I haven't otherwise looked for.
Water temp is down to 70/71. Didn't get a chance to check the depths for temp as time was limited. All kinds of fish breaking the surface, with the occasional quick sprinkle.
Only ended up with one crappie but like I said I wasn't really fishing. When I was coming off the lake talked to a guy just before putting the boat on the trailer and he said him and his buddy got 3 'ski's 39 - 41", a bass and an eye. Guess it's time to really get out there.
I'll be getting the musky rod out again this week. I hope to at least see one by the weekend.
Also, for a Saturday, the lake wasn't that crowded. Maybe the rain and cool weather helped. Either way I liked it.
