Now that the Indians are coming we should expect the lake to become a canoe only lake. 2 manpower limit.

This is discrimination. What if they have big muscles and I don't? We can't have that. If we go canoe only then it must be made a no-wake lake.

We can't have these two big guys zipping all over the lake with their big muscles and big paddles while the little guy can only paddle fast off the boat ramp in calm water.

and make darn sure we get the initiative going for canoe's that only produce no-wake before someone loses a wax worm overboard. Please, for the children.

Also, I think the no-wake for canoe's could be a temporary 'lets try it and see program' kind of like the tollway.:p

Forget the canoe, will the Indian's have the right to pull the stopper chain on the bottom of the lake and simple pick the fish off the ground when it is drained?

Now will be able to gamble on the lake (Fishing) or in the casino.

I wonder if they will be making odd's on fishing going on in the lake (the type of fish, when they will be caught, weight...etc?).

Another wild thought, If they were to take over a vast area of DeKalb, they might need a much larger lake for a river boat and would flood everything, including dowtown DeKalb and the university.

Hey, forget the drain plug at the bottom of the lake. I'm still waiting to see an underwater pick of that boat that supposedly sank ;-)

On a serious note though- I figure this neck of the woods is overdue for a nice resort complete with a gambling casino near the shore of the lake on the golf course edge. Gotta keep the golf course as it blends nicely with the casino and lake. We'll think of it as our own little Lake Geneva. Think of the grande revenue Shabbona will benefit from. They will drain the lake and stock it every spring with rainbows for which a fee will be charged to fish. Following a successful day of fishin, you'll get to have your picture taken with a real live Injun' :D

If any of you have seen many of these casino"s, you would see that they change very little around them. For the most part they are just a large building with a parking lot. You are right about one thing there are a lot of lights, but that only scares some of you because you have lived your whole lives in the dark.
As far as the lake, I may be wrong but they would have no special fishing rights on a body of water that was not there at the time they owned it or that was built funded by the goverment.
Ive got an idea, lets ask the web site attorney. I look forward to your replys.
