Walleye Fishing Report?

Am planning on fishing the lake Monday. Any reports on how the walleye fishing is? My friend is a bass fisherman, but I would much rather go for walleyes. We'll probably go for some muskies also. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

my suggestion would be to only target one specie.the holiday traffic is not what it used to be , but will still be crowded. best bet would be to throw big baits, walleyes and bass will hit those too. good luck

For bass, I've had recent luck throwing a deep diving crankbait to the edge of the rip rap at the dam. Just troll along the dam and crank your bait at the dropoff. It's also much less weedy over there. I've had luck with shad patterns and with brown and orange Rebel crawfish pattern lures.

Leeches work well if you are bait fishing.
